ELECTRICAL ACCREDITATION TRAINING

Electrical accreditation training

Electrical accreditation is, in the field of electricity, the recognition by an employer of a person's ability to perform the tasks set in complete safety. The electrical authorization is issued by an employer for a limited period after verification of the employee's capacity. The authorization title is a strictly personal document and cannot be given to third parties. The holder must be able to present his authorization title in the event of an inspection. The authorization does not by itself authorize its holder to carry out on his own initiative the operations for which he is authorized. FORMATION4S can supervise training B0 / H0 / H0V / BS / BE and HE maneuvers.

Protection index: IP

The first character indicates tightness against solid bodies. In Low Voltage, the IP2X index is a minimum (left diagram). The degree of protection IP2X means that the device is protected against the intrusion of solids greater than 12.5 mm. In concrete terms, all devices powered by LV must at least offer IP2X protection. In High Voltage, IP3X is required (diagram on the right). The second character specifies the tightness against liquids. In authorization this does not concern us directly, we are talking about IP2X for the LV and IP3X for the HV.

The importance of areas in electrical accreditation.

Environmental zones near live bare parts (PNST) depend on the voltage level of the installation, its type and position. These zones are defined between regulatory distances established from the accessible PNST. An analysis of the electrical risk in the environment, prior to any work, is essential. It must result in a precise assessment of distances and a determination of the risk zones due to the presence of PNST.
